"For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead (planaw:G4105, deceive)(1), if possible, even the elect" (Matt. 24:24 NASB).(2)
Beginning with Satan's deception of the first man/woman (Gen. 3:1-7), Satan's ambition, ever
since, has been to try and undermine God's plan of redemption. But, God put enmity between him
and the woman. An individual, a descendant, from among the woman's seed, namely, Christ, dealt
a death blow to Satan's head at the cross, while Satan merely bruised Christ's heel by causing Him
to suffer.
"And I will put enmity between you and the woman, And between your seed (zera:H2233, offspring) and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head, And you shall bruise him on the heel" (Gen. 3:15).
Now, we know who came forth from the woman's seed/offspring-Christ Himself, but it's been an
enigma as to who will come forth from Satan's seed. Is it possible, or are the scriptures simply
being symbolic here? We're all familiar with the 60's movie, "Rosemary's Baby," where an
offspring of Satan is literally born of a woman. Since this movie's release, there's been numerous
themes of a similar kind. Is it fiction, or is there some subconscious or collective unconscious mind
at work producing parallels to an inevitable truth? There does seem to be a biblical record of such
a thing having happened in the past during the days of Noah.
6:1 "Now it came about, when men began to multiply on the face of the land, and daughters were born to them,
2 that the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose.
4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown" (Gen. 6:1-4).
The phrase "sons of God" is used in the OT almost exclusively of angels (Job 1:6; 2:1; 38:7).
These particular angels took wives for themselves. Angels do not procreate after their kind (Mark
12:25), but these angels did on this unique occasion cohabit with human women to produce offspring
called the Nephilim. The Hebrew word "Nephilim" comes from the root word
"naphal" which means fallen (ones). Nephilim also means "giants." The only other occurrence of
Nephilim in the bible is when the Jewish spies returned from Canaan with their report, "There also
we saw the Nephilim (the sons of Anak are part of the Nephilim); and we became like
grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight" (Num. 13:33). If the spies felt like
grasshoppers in relation to the Nephilim, the Nephilim were giants indeed! These are the offspring
then from the fallen angels whom Satan persuaded to grievously sin by cohabiting with women
and attempting to thus corrupt the entire human race during the antediluvian days of Noah. Only
Noah and his family had not been corrupted (Gen. 6:9).
4 "For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell (lit., tartarus)(3) and committed them to pits of darkness, reserved for judgment;
5 and did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when He brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly" (2 Peter 2:4, 5).
6 "And angels who did not keep their own domain, but abandoned their proper abode, He has kept in eternal bonds under darkness for the judgment of the great day (Jude 1:6).
The end-times too will be "just as it happened in the days of Noah." The fallen sons of God will once again attempt to corrupt the human race with their offspring, the Nephilim. I believe the sons of God may be using cloning/DNA technology as well--this may account for the so called alien abductions, but its still mating with humans, even if indirectly. God consigned the fallen angels to Tartarus who were involved in this sin during the days of Noah, but there is nothing in scripture that would prevent subsequent fallen angels from repeating the behavior of the first (in fact the contrary is true)--they may have indeed been inhibited, but God seems to allow Satan unusual liberties in the end-times--probably to bring sin to a fullness that He might judge it. There need not be sexual intercourse for there to be sex (although you may get an argument from Clinton!). The relations between the sons of God and humans are still sexual by definition--even if confined only to a test tube. I.e., it's still sexual generation even if doesn't involve sexual intercourse.
26 "And just as it happened in the days of Noah, so it shall be also in the days of the Son of Man:
27 they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all" (Luke 17:26, 27).
During the Jewish diaspora the king of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar, had a disturbing dream that only Daniel could interpret. The dream interrupted by Daniel was of a single great statue of a man which was large and of extraordinary splendor. The statue personified the future Gentile empires: the head of gold represented the then present Babylonian kingdom; the breast and arms of silver is the Median/Persian kingdom; the belly and its thighs of bronze is the Grecian kingdom; the two its legs of iron are the eastern and western portions of the Roman empire. The feet of iron and clay, including it's ten toes, is interpreted to represent a future ten nation/region confederate empire. The ten nation empire will be controlled by the Antichrist. This final empire will eventually be crushed by Jesus at the battle of Armageddon. But, there is something very disconcerting about the feet with it's ten toes:
41 "And in that you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter's clay and partly of iron, it will be a divided kingdom; but it will have in it the toughness of iron, inasmuch as you saw the iron mixed with common clay.
42 "And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of pottery, so some of the kingdom will be strong and part of it will be brittle.
43 "And in that you saw the iron mixed with common clay, they will combine with one another in the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, even as iron does not combine with pottery" (Daniel 2:41-43).
Here we have it-further evidence that subsequent fallen sons of God again will leave their spiritual
abode to mingle with the daughters of men to produce a superhuman offspring of Nephilim! The
foundation for this coming great deception has been laid by the indoctrination of a humanistic,
godless mind-set. I believe that the occult phenomena we're now experiencing in our scientific age:
the so-called aliens traveling across vast space with their spacecraft (UFO's, et al) are, in reality,
fallen sons of God preparing the way for the final episode of the human drama. They're back!
They're not from some distant solar system, but from the spiritual dimension. They will be
welcome quests to many, promising a new age for humankind-a quantum leap into the future
millennium. But, in reality, they are deceiving mankind in order to control and corrupt the human
race just as in the days of Noah.
14 "And about these (evil deceivers in the end-times) also Enoch,(4) in the seventh generation from Adam, prophesied, saying, "Behold, the Lord came with many thousands of His holy ones (I.e., angels; cf., 2 Thess. 1:7-10),
15 to execute judgment upon all, and to convict all the ungodly of all their ungodly deeds which they have done in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him" (Jude 1:14, 15).
One of the texts uncovered among the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Genesis Apocryphon, also contains references to the fallen angels
interbreeding with human women. In this text, a conversation between Noah's father, Lamech, and his wife Bathenosh is recounted.
Lamech questions his wife because he thinks that the conception of Noah was due to either an angel or one of their offspring,
a nephilim. The Bible, along with the apocryphal texts of: The Book of Enoch, Josephus, the Book of Jubilees, et al and stories
told by the Babylonians, Sumarians and the Mesoamerican cultures, et al, conclusively exhibits a common understanding of the ancient
times that these fallen host had committed fornication with women in the antediluvian period. From Greek mythology, Hesiod's Theogony
(c.800 BC) provides a genealogy of the birth of the deities. The first god was Uranus (Heaven), who mates with Gaea, the earth; from
this union, the Titans and Cyclops are born. The most famous of the Titans was Cronus. The Titans were imprisoned in a section of the
underworld called Tartarus(5). The Gigantes (giants) were a race born from the blood of Uranus after
the latter had been castrated by his son Cronus. These giants are primeval creatures of immense size, usually humanlike but evil and cruel.
Heracles helped to defeat them. Hercules, by his Roman name, was born to Zeus and a mortal mother, Alcmene. Zeus wanted to father a great
champion. Someone who could help fight and defeat the Giants as they were prophesied to return. Still another example in legend
informs us that the powerful cult center of Tiahuanaco, in the southern highlands in Bolivia, was built by a race of giants
after their homeland had been destroyed by a great flood. The idea that a assembly of fallen angels mated with human women
and had offspring (the nephilim) appears outlandish to us today, but it seems to have been widely accepted as fact in the ancient
world. Nonetheless, they will be back in the end-times to deceive mankind in order to control and corrupt the human race
just as in the days of Noah.
